Springtime is the season for all that is new. Such is also true for these Devour members who are also in a season of growth and expansion:

Upward Projects (aka: The Postino Family of Restaurants)
Recently announced the coming of their newest concept slated to open later this year in Central Phoenix. The restaurant will be housed in the historic Al Beadle building at the corner of Central and West Oregon Avenues. With such winning operations of Postino, Windsor and Churn under their belts, we can’t wait to see what other magic they have in store!

Gallo Blanco Cafe & Bar at the Crescent Ballroom
Chef Doug Robson recently expanded his dining service to include lunch at the popular downtown spot. Served Monday – Friday starting at 11am, downtown employees and residents can now enjoy the Mexican-with-a-border-accent tastes during their lunch hour! And did you know that Breakfast is served all day here?? Click here to view the menu.

Short Leash Hot Dogs Tells Locals to Sit..Stay
The beloved and dynamic duo at Short Leash just unveiled their new concept aptly named Sit..Stay! The unique outdoor dining concept will be open every Friday from 6 – 8pm, featuring a new menu every week (visit their Facebook page for each week’s offerings). Housed just behind Stinkweeds and Frances in the Medlock Plaza, Sit..Stay will feed your soul and your belly.

The first ever Ignite Food, presented by the always popular Ignite Phoenix folks, was a HUMUNGOUS success! Over 400 interested locals, hungry to hear from the front line of Valley culinary talent/foodies, attended the event at StandUpLive in Downtown Phoenix. In true Ignite fashion, the evening was made up of 18 presentations, 20 slides in each at 5 minutes a pop. Quick…delicious…to the point.

A few slides from Devour members you really MUST check out – Dwayne Allen of The Breadfruit/Rum Bar discussed “The Full Monte of Rum.” He explained the dynamic characteristics of the elixir and how to enjoy the “noble” spirit like royalty! Click here to watch the video.

Justin Beckett from Beckett’s Table told the story of his “Eatathon – 24 Restaurants in 36 Hours!” An aggressive tour through San Fran, Beckett relays his tale of gastronomical fortitude and discovery. Click here to watch his video.

Thanks to all who came out and if you missed this year’s not to worry, a second helping will most definitely be served.
