Bahar Anooshahr

Bahar Anooshahr is The Arizona Republic nightlife and dining reporter. She covers topics that range from restaurant histories to chef profiles, farmers markets to cocktail bars, but what she loves best is telling stories that highlight and celebrate the diversity of metro Phoenix. She's a member of Les Dames d'Escoffier, a nonprofit organization that supports women leaders in the hospitality, food and beverage industry. Before her life as a journalist, she was an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
