Arizona Cocktail Weekend & Local First Arizona Partner To Host The Devour Bartending Competition On Feb. 17, 2019 (3 – 6 pm)

Nine top local mixologists battle head-to-head at this live cocktail competition with the winner featured at 2019 Devour Culinary Classic on Feb. 24

Who:   Food & Drink reporters, local cocktail aficionados and anyone else interested in the new, improved Devour Bartending Competition.  

What:  Enjoy some spirited cocktail fun in the heart of Downtown Phoenix as Arizona Cocktail Weekend and Local First Arizona partner up to host the new, improved Devour Bartending Competition on Sunday, February 17, 2019. Held outdoors at the grass-lined Portland Parkway Park, join nine top local bartenders (full list below) as they shake and stir up award-winning, Arizona-crafted cocktail creations—which attendees will be able to sample—and compete live for $500 in prizes, plus the title 2019 Arizona’s Star Bartender and be featured at the 2019 Devour Culinary Classic on Sunday, February 24.

The public is invited by tickets today to come and cheer on their favorite bartender as they face off in front of a celebrity lineup of judges, armed with a selection of Arizona’s best locally-distilled spirits, and help kick off the 2019 Devour Week. Tickets to attend the Devour Phoenix Bartending Competition are $40 and include a cocktail sample from each of the participating bartenders, neat spirits from each of the sponsoring distilleries and access to view the thrilling competition.
